Essay # 3 Forgiving

The importance in forgiving someone is to be able to move on with your own life, especially if that someone is close to you.

Victor learns to forgive his father because he learns that his father truly cared about him and he was so proud of him. That made Victor reflect on how he thought about his father. Victor also realized that his father regretted everything that he did and how it affected both him and his mother.

After Victor realized that it was all for the best he was able to move things aside that happened with his father and move on with his life without holding a grudge against his dad and that lifted a big weight off his back and made him feel like he was able to start all over with his life and have a clean fresh start. Victor realized why Tomas always viewed his father as a great person. Victor was also able to have a stronger relationship with Thomas after all that happen. So it made Victor grow up as a person and was able to forgive and forget and also to be able to trust again.

  1. i too definatly think that moving on and forgiving someone is best for both people. its vital people are about to overcome certain things and move on with their lives. i think victor realizes this after becoming friends with thomas and going though a grieving process

  2. "The importance in forgiving someone is to be able to move on with your own life, especially if that someone is close to you."

This is a strong thesis statement and can easily be brought back to through out your essay. I suggest giving specific examples of how Victor was able to move on with his own life after forgiving his father.

  3. I enjoyed the draft and agree that forgiving someone to be able to move on with your life is important. I also agree to give more details on how victor was able to move on in his life. Victor was able to forgive his father and i think also thomas because of how bad he treated him before their trip.

  4. It is true forgiving someone is being able to move on in life and live a lot better. Your draft is good and I think that you are right Thomas made a big difference on what Victor thought about his father. After Thomas would always talk about how great Arnold would be then that would make Victor think a lot.

  5. I really like how you begin your writing and you define the word "Forgiveness". I also agree the way you explain how Victor learns to forgive his father. Im still confused on where your thesis is. So far I really like your start to this essay number three.

  6. I strongly agree with "The importance in forgiving someone is to be able to move on with your own life, especially if that someone is close to you." If your not able to forgive it makes it ten times harder to move on with your life. This is a good start to your essay. good luck
